The Sub-Carpathian Teacher Education Center (Podkarpackie Centrum Edukacji Nauczycieli) in Rzeszów is a voivodship public teacher training institution, employing forty nine teacher consultants. The Statute as well as the Decree of the Minister of National Education of 29th September 2016 define PCEN’s structure and tasks.
The Sub-Carpathian Teacher Education Center in Rzeszów consists of four branches and a center in Czudec:

The Sub-Carpathian Teacher Education Center offers a wide range of training courses, workshops, improvement and qualification courses as well as post-graduate studies that are very popular among teachers.
As an accredited institution, we provide teachers with substantive assistance in many areas, offering workshops and consultancy services. We promote the latest educational trends and popularize new educational tools and methods. Our constantly changing educational offer responds to the current demand of educational environments. Teachers also have the opportunity to influence the shape of our educational offer by submitting the proposals of topics via PCEN website.
The center offers a variety of interesting training courses for teaching staff. The offer also includes training for parents. Particularly popular are the ones dealing with educational issues, especially in the field of cyberbullying. Every year, we prepare several hundred topics training that we organize at PCEN branches and educational institutions.
The educational offer, addressed to teaching staff, includes almost 200 proposals, including, among others, the analysis of examination results, teacher professional development, school work concept, evaluation, security in the network, school statutes and workshops promoting experiential learning in natural science education. Inclusive education issues, including psychological and pedagogical assistance or special needs education, are particularly popular among teachers.
We invite you to Czudec for conferences, workshops, training courses organized by The Sub-Carpathian Teacher Education Center (PCEN) at OENiPAS (The Teacher and Local Government Workers Education Center). It is located in a picturesque area of the Strzyżowsko - Dynowskie Foothills and offers such facilities as: conference and lecture halls, a computer lab, a gym and a currently created laboratory. In addition, equipped with a guest building with a canteen, it can offer full boarding and provides accommodation for 154 guests in single, double and multi-person rooms, including 10 adapted for the disabled. Moreover, it has a full-sized stadium, sports fields and a guarded parking lot.
Qualification courses are another form of support for teachers and entitle them to be e.g. tour managers or leisure organizers for children and young people or else provide them with specific qualification in the field of industrial safety or mental health and wellbeing suport. Whereas improvement courses are designed e.g. for teacher advisers or give teachers opportunity to acquire knowledge e.g. concerning basics of programming, numeric methods and websites creation etc. Teachers can also undertake post-graduate studies. Our offer includes family life education, education and therapy for children with autistic disorders, including Asperger's syndrome.
Networks of cooperation and self-education of teachers and school directors and educational institutions of the region are the essential proposal of PCEN. There are fifty eight such networks in PCEN, associating e.g. vocational education teachers, directors of all types of schools, teachers gathered around historical clubs or innovators. Sub-Carpathian teachers pay exceptional attention to their professional development, which results in high quality of education in Sub-Carpathian region. Last year over two thirds of Sub-Carpathian teachers took part in at least one training course offered by PCEN.
